Crop Protection
We develop and formulate innovative solutions for the efficient management of pests, diseases, and weeds, integrating technology, high quality standards, and specialized technical support. Our products are designed to improve productivity and ensure healthy crops, meeting the needs of large-scale agriculture and the agro-export sector in Latin America.
Hybrid Seeds
We offer high-yield hybrid rice and corn seeds, adapted to the diverse growing conditions of the region. Through research, genetic selection, and field validation, we guarantee materials with excellent vigor, stability, and yield potential, enabling farmers to obtain more competitive, profitable, and sustainable harvests.
Our Story
Interoc began operations on October 1, 1993, in Ecuador, as the International Trade Division of Distribuidora Richard O. Custer SA. It initially represented a multinational pesticide company. Subsequently, the product portfolio expanded significantly, and the company decided to venture into other businesses, such as industrial water treatment.
Mr. Felipe A. Custer assumes the Presidency of Interoc.
Interoc's activities in Costa Rica began in 1997.
Interoc launches its first private label brand: Glyphosate 480, now known as “Arrasador 480”. Interoc has transitioned from a distributor primarily carrying third-party brand products to a company that now researches, develops, produces, and markets 80% of its products under its own brands.
It begins operations at its plant in the city of Guayaquil (Ecuador), which today formulates more than 40 of its own brand products.
On October 5, 2006, Interoc's subsidiary in Peru was established.
The Agricultural Research and Development Laboratory is created. It has highly qualified personnel and experts in agrochemical formulation, who work on the development of new products and innovative, high-performance formulations.
Interoc began its commercial activity in Colombia in 2009.
The Quality Control Laboratory is established.
The Research and Development Laboratory for Water Treatment begins operations.
INTEROC begins operations in Bolivia.
INTEROC Rice Seed Plant Begins Production
INTEROC enters the world of social media with Vive Interoc Perú on Facebook and Instagram, generating new processes of dynamic interaction with clients and prospects interested in our products and services.
The INBIO Laboratory is being implemented in Peru to promote research and development of biological and biorational products.
In line with digitalization and globalization, Interoc's presence on social networks is expanding with the Interoc Ecuador and Interoc Colombia sites on Facebook and Instagram.
INTEROC celebrates its first 25 years, already with a presence in more than 10 Latin American markets: Ecuador, Peru, Colombia, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama and the Dominican Republic.
In June a new dream begins, the INTEROC COMMERCIAL ACADEMY to strengthen the human and professional development of technical and commercial teams, focused on customer service.
In November, the company's new corporate brand approach and value proposition will be announced, in line with the new and more demanding times: INTEROC, passion for innovation.
In February, the new packaging and labels with a new identity are launched on the market: the INTEROC border and the green lid with the company seal.
November. INTEROC acquires the rice seed genetic improvement program of "El Aceituno" in Colombia, consolidating its leadership in Latin America and incorporating a Germplasm Bank into its operation.
In November, INTEROC Central America joins the world of social media with its new site on Facebook and Instagram, covering all countries in the region.

In 2022, Interoc Ecuador took a decisive step in agricultural innovation with the launch of Emblema Ultra, its new technological proposal in hybrid corn seeds.
INTEROC AT THE FOREFRONT WITH ITS RICE GERMPLASM GENETIC BANK.
In 2025, Interoc consolidated its leadership in rice cultivation in Latin America with the development of a genetic germplasm bank that brings together more than 60 materials in varieties and hybrids adapted to tropical conditions.

Interoc Central America strengthened its presence in the region by expanding operations in Honduras, consolidating new strategic alliances with companies in the agricultural sector.

In Loreto, Interoc continues to strengthen its Inclusive Business Program for Yellow Dent Corn (MAD) with field days in the communities of Cañaveral and Manco Cápac. More than 40 farmers and local authorities participated in these events, visiting plots harvested with our Atlas 777 seed.
CULTIVATING SUCCESS: AZASUM CONQUERS ECUADORIAN FARMERS
Interoc strengthens its presence in Ecuador with successful technical workshops on AZASUM, our flagship herbicide for rice. More than 100 farmers actively participated in these sessions, achieving a direct impact on 600 hectares of productive land.
