El team from the Western zone Interoc Colombia took advantage of a space technical training with the AgroCaficauca team to present solutions geared towards Coffee rust control in coffee cultivation, one of the main phytosanitary challenges for Colombian coffee farming.
During the day, management strategies supported by our PTI Caféwith the aim of providing Comprehensive and sustainable solutions that accompany the farmer in all stages of cultivation, strengthening the productivity and health of the coffee plantations in the department.
The meeting also allowed for the creation of a valuable technical debate Regarding the importance of this pathogen in coffee production, the comprehensive management based on its development cycle and relevance of timely monitoring as a key tool to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of control programs.
These types of spaces reinforce Interoc's commitment to the knowledge transfer, collaborative work, and technical support in the field, contributing to the development of a more profitable and sustainable coffee farming in this region of the country.
